I’m now teed up for a keynote presentation and follow-up workshops with School District 78 (Fraser-Cascade), focused on implementing Personalized Learning in the SD 78 schools. I’m very excited about this; I’m convinced PL is an important wave of the future. To quote Dr. Scott Barry Kaufman from his recent (spring 2013) book, Ungifted, Intelligence Redefined,  “there is an abundance of evidence suggesting we should encourage all people with a love of a specific domain to engage in what they love.”

In my work in SelfDesign and elsewhere I, too, see abundant evidence for this and am an enthusiastic supporter of this variety of PL. Even more so now that the BC Minister of Education Peter Fassbender re-confirmed support for PL through the BC Education Plan.
